Watercolour Workshops 2024

Join local artist Lynn Kirkley for a series of watercolour painting workshops.

Spring Watercolour Workshop – Thursday 21st March at 4pm

During this 2.5 hour workshop you will observe and record some of the beautiful Spring Flowers available from Summerseat Garden Centre. You will be introduced to basic watercolour techniques from colour mixing to creating different tones, textures and patterns. By the end of the session you will have created a beautiful small painting ready which can be presented in a mount.

Summer Watercolour Concertina Sketchbook – Thursday 4th July at 5.30pm

In this 2.5 hour workshop you will create a beautiful concertina sketchbook filled with beautiful summer flora. Using a variety of materials, such as, pencil, watercolour, pastels, coloured pencils and pen and ink, you will be guided through how to bring the summer to life on paper.
Ticket price: £40.00 per person

All materials are provided for the workshops.

Tea, coffee and mini pastries will be available at the workshop – please advise of any allergens when booking.

It is recommended to bring a camera phone with you to capture any flora and foliage you are inspired to paint.
